It’s no surprise Oklahoma City is quickly becoming a desired destination spot. With the steady return to normalcy, people are starting to be out and about again. With just a quick drive from most of our TimberCraft communities, you will find yourself at a new entertainment destination. The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is now open, and it has just about everything. This massive 605 room hotel features 7 dining outlets, a full-service spa, a modern fitness center with pelotons, a lobby bar, 76,000 sq feet of event space, a rare bird retail shop, coffee shop, currency exchange, expansive pool deck, 24-hour business center and much more. It’s the perfect place for a staycation, a business trip, having family in from out of town, date night or even just shopping.

Another destination is the new Oklahoma City Convention Center, which is the perfect pair next to the Omni Hotel. As of January 2021, the new center has been booming with trade shows, public shows, conventions, meetings and receptions. It seems like there is always something exciting happening and interesting things to see.

A short drive south of our Highland Pointe Community lands you at the new First Americans Museum, that opens around the end of September. “In one place, visitors will experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today. First Americans Museum will share the cultural diversity, history, and contributions of the First Americans”. This will be an excited place to learn more about Oklahoma history and for the children to explore.
